COMMUNISM: Webster's definition: "A totalitarian system of government in which a single authoritarian party controls state-owned means of production; a final stage of society in Marxist theory in which the state has withered away and economic goods are distributed equitably."
MARXISM: Webster's definition: "The political, ecomomic, and social principles and policies advocated by Marx; especially a theory and practice of socialixm including the labor theory of value, dialectical materialisn, the class struggle, and dictatorship of the proletariate (Webster: "The laboring class; especially the class of industrial workers who lack their own means of production and hence sell their labor to live.") until the establishment of a classless society."
